During my time here in Hawaiʻi, I have been immersed in many communities - and they welcomed me into their homes, their cultures, and music. As a composer, I then put into dialogue these various musical traditions as a way to understand and come to terms with my place/positionality in this world and island as a Filipino away from home yet fervently seeking what this home is and what it may look like.

My masters recital features six works that combine instruments and soundscapes from Asia and the West.
